Developers in the team need a strong understanding of Computer fundamentals and practical experience in building large scale distributed systems. Experience with web-based applications and/or web services-based applications, especially at massive scale, is also helpful.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science
– Proficiency in Java/C++ and SQL in a UNIX environment
– Strong OO design skills
– Proven experience in designing successfully launched products/services
Preferred Qualifications
– Prior experience with building and supporting live high-volume production systems
– Time series analysis and mathematical statistics
– Messaging (JMS etc.) – XML and Web Service concepts
– Solid interpersonal and communication skills
– Obsession with quality and customer experience – Attention to detail coupled with ability to think abstractly
