Deloittes Solutions Network ( SNET) is a global network that connects Deloittes solution centers, extended delivery centers, clients, and vendor partners. The primary focus of the SNET is to support client development projects, client pursuits, solution development, and practice development. The SNET does this by providing project teams with a hosted infrastructure that includes a large mix of hardware vendors, operating systems, and technical application expertise. The SNET also provides on- site technical architecture and application experts for Deloittes clients.
The Solution Network consists of experts with knowledge of all major packaged applications and technologies PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Siebel, middleware, BI/ DW, JAVA, . Net, networking, SAN, server virtualization, etc. SNET staff is also exposed to new and emerging technology, and in many cases serve as an R&D function for Deloitte.

The Consultant will be responsible for providing expert- level technical leadership for application and technology products supported by the Solutions Network. The position will be focused on supporting client projects as well as sales teams in the configuration, customization, and implementation of selected packages and applications for sales demonstration as well as client- based project implementations. In addition to hands- on technical work, this position will also require providing assistance to project teams with architecture design, developing documentation and creating client deliverables.
The ideal candidate will have broad installation and configuration experience with Informatica as listed below, preferably in a management consulting environment.
Additional experience in various Business Intelligence/ Data- warehousing technologies is highly desirable.
This position does not require travel. Personal Qualifications
Three to five years prior work experience in information technology, including two year work experience with Business Intelligence/ Data- warehousing products
Extensive experience in installing, configuring, administering, tuning, and troubleshooting Informatica platforms in Virtual Windows and Unix ( AIX, Solaris, HPUX, Linux) environment.
Deep technical expertise on the following Informatica related components:
PowerCenter
Power Exchange
Informatica Data Services
Informatica Data Quality
Oracle Business Intelligence Data Warehouse Administration Console ( DAC)
Master Data Management ( MDM) Siperian
Informatica Identity Resolution ( IIR)
B2B Data Exchange & Data Transformation
Information Life Cycle management( ILM)
Test Data Management ( TDM) and Data Validation Option ( DVO) .
DBA skills with at least one of the following are a plus: Oracle 10g, DB2 9. 0 or SQL Server 2005.
Knowledge of Middleware packages ( WebSphere, Jboss, Apache, WebMethods or Tibco etc) is a plus.
Experience in Production level support for onsite and offshore teams during their development life cycle is a plus.
Experience in migrating applications from development/ test environments to production including customization
Active participation in infrastructure architecture design and sizing, effort estimation and security
Goal oriented with high standards for quality and performance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.
Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems science / engineering or equivalent field.
Prior consulting experience highly desired.
